There are so many art shows in New York. Now here’s one with a very different twist.

It happens about three or four times a year. The people who put this one together decided to arrange an art show at the M1-5 Lounge, a bar that was making pancakes and serving booze. Along with all these amazing local artists there are DJs and body painting models as well.

I saw so many wonderful artists. Here are a couple that stood out for me:

Yutien Chang creates white plaster humans with animal head sculptures. One of his images was a chicken-headed human with a dog-headed human on a leash. His work took the main stage.

Maggie Mazza  does awesome custom artwork with images, like a ram’s head  painting with a mix of colors.

If you missed this unusual event, it’s happening again on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, and on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
