The New York International Auto Show has been in existence since 1900, and now, in its third century, there’s no sign of it slowing down. So many automobile companies are showcasing and promoting all their new products. The vintage cars are there also, and always fun to see. This year the Vintage Auto Museum of New Jersey had some rare cars on display with a nice assortment of classics and collectors cars to see, along with some vintage gas pumps.

Hyundai has been doing its Hope On Wheels benefit helping the fight against pediatric cancer. This year marks 18 years of commitment and a total of 115 million dollars has been donated. Celebrities like Aubrey Peeples (of “Nashville”)  were on hand to perform along with the cancer survivors. It’s quite moving to see the dedication of combating cancer and it is the most important part what  organizations like Hyundai are all about!

KIA always throws the best auto show party. It takes place right across from the Javits center at SIR Stage 37, with some very special performances. This year, an amazing drummer, Ravi, was pounding along and transmitting popular tunes that blasted out of the whole room. Upstairs was a glow-in-the-dark ping pong table for everyone to play, from the GO!XD creative team.

And lastly, Lauren Fix, the car coach, lead a panel at Lexus about women emerging as mechanics in the auto industry.
