This being Design Week in New York, there are quite a few Design shows.

Brooklyn Designs’ show has moved from Dumbo to Greenpoint. Since Greenpoint is one of the most up-and-coming neighborhoods, it’s not surprising that this new space, The Brooklyn Expo,  is really cool with high ceilings and a lot of glass windows that open.

Just the week before  The WFMU Record Fair was here.

Speaking of records, at The Brooklyn Design Show there were a few designers exhibiting record shelves and racks made to store records. One such company, WaxRax, designed record carts that hold over 200 LPs, with open compartments that make it easier to find your records. These record carts are made with solid aluminum construction with a classic anodized finish that provides durable corrosion -resistant storage that is both beautiful and sturdy. It’s a must have product for any record collection and disc jockey. Go to waxrax.com for all your music needs.
