The annual International Auto Show, held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, always has so many fascinating new cars to look forward to seeing.

However, this year I put all my efforts into one particular car company: Hyundai.

Not because of their wonderful automobiles, but their very important work and dedication to to helping children who have to fight cancer.

The Hyundai Hope On Wheels program has raised over 72 million dollars in cancer research since its inception in 1998. They have done such amazing work in helping kids become cancer free. Hyundai and its dealers remain committed to helping children in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Hope On Wheels grants are presented throughout the year with a signature hand-print ceremony at the selected institutions. Every hand-print collected symbolizes the courage, memories and hope of all children diagnosed with this disease. These hand-prints are placed on a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport which travels the country creating awareness for the disease.

I was so touched by meeting some of these children who are survivors. I could not think of any car company that is more important than Hyundai for this aspect of their humanitarian work.
